As the successful candidate you will have:

• 15 + years of insurance related experience with a proven track record of success in commercial insurance.
• Strong Open Market Placement skills
• Experience managing Key Clients
• Networking and relationship building skills
• Trusted relationships with key underwriters
• Proven experience in identifying new business opportunities for referral to Practice Leader
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to interact with and manage the requirements of key clients
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Tier 1 essential
• Competent in IT and office procedures

Duties in this role will include:

• Managing and maintaining an existing portfolio of Large Commercial and or Corporate risks of approximately $600k Income across 100 clients.
• Secure and/or refer new business opportunities and participate in marketing campaigns for new and existing clients
• Drive revenue growth in the commercial portfolio through achieving individual and team financial objectives and targets including retention and growth targets
• Planning and developing client retention strategies
• Manage compliance and administration tasks
