Responsibilities:
- Manage a panel of brokers, developing and strengthening relationships.
- Review and rate broker submissions
- Provide assistance to the underwriting capacity of the team.
- Underwriting of new business opportunities and liaising with brokers in the placement of covers.
-Underwriting of renewal business and liaising with brokers in the renewal of covers.
-Provide additional support to others in the underwriting team where capacity allows.
Requirements:
- 5+ Years Underwriting Proprerty Risk, with corporate exposure underwriting above $20 Mill Asset Value.
- Ideally you possess strong relationships with in the International Broking Houses
An understanding of Underwriting principals and the ability to apply them appropriately to risks.
- Immaculate presentation and the confidence to engage the broker market face to face.
- Strong negotiation skills.
